This exhibition takes memory and disappearance as its starting points. Gathering works created between 2020 and 2025, it unfolds around the memory of the artist’s father and explores themes such as absence, continuity, and reinvention. That memory — rewritten, reinvented, borrowed — becomes material and setting for the creation of drawings, videos, paintings, prints, and photographs. The waters of the river, along with other nautical elements present in the exhibition, recall memories from Clara’s childhood in Mato Grosso do Sul, in the interior of Brazil. Among the works on view, the painting series Nós (Knots/Us) visually explores both physical and symbolic knots — those that tangle in objects, but also in emotional bonds. Beyond the evocation of memory, the rivers that run through the title of the exhibition also allude to the passage of time.
